This plugin utilizes Sigar directly and indirectly through the native-system RHQ Module to monitor the OS and to support native operating system functions used by other plugins such as process scans. This plugin must be present for the RHQ Agent to function. It also supports a fall-back, non-native mode that will have reduced functionality, but allows the agent to run on any Java 5 VM regardless of OS.
