Q: What is changing in RHQ now?

A: Red Hat Inc and Hyperic/SpringSource have mutually terminated the collaboration agreement as of 27th August 2009. From 27th August 2009 Red Hat will have complete administrative and governance control of RHQ project. Red Hat, Inc. and Hyperic/Spring Source have mutually agreed that Red Hat will take over governance and administration of the RHQ project.

Q: Is RHQ code still available to the community?

A: Yes. All project assets are still available to the community and will continue to be available with no change under the terms and conditions of the project: (http://svn.rhq-project.org/repos/rhq/trunk/LICENSE). All project assets will continue to be available under the existing open source license.

Q: May I continue to participate in the RHQ project under GPL licensing terms and conditions?

A: Yes. For contributor terms and conditions for the RHQ project please see our Contributions page.

Q: Are there any ongoing RHQ project activities?

A: Yes. RHQ continues to be an important management platform for Red Hat and JBoss technologies. The RHQ community is growing every day and we welcome interested individuals to participate in the RHQ project as per the project terms and conditions.
